We make our 100% cacao powder from the bean! We're one of the only chocolate makers in the world who roast, press and grind our own hot cocoa. This translates into incredible TRUE cacao flavor. Most hot cocoa is alkalized, which means it’s washed with a solution of potassium carbonate. This removes most of the natural cacao flavor and also a significant amount of the beneficial flavanols. But our cacao powder is NEVER alkalized, so you’ll always taste the true flavors of the cacao!
